Anyone fish the fox river in illinois? Looking at silver springs State Park area. What baits/ technique?

I have that's in my AO...... Lots of people fish the Montgomery dam. This time of year fishing isn't so hot.

I fish for different stuff. Not really fish specific. Of course that's going to limit me drastically. Seems I don't catch ANY fish in a river so hard to be specific lol

Jig spinners, and Panther Martin/Rooster Tail type lures will catch bass and sunfish in rivers. The guys in this video are using crankbaits.
Go to youtube and look for fox river fishing.
