My ham computer has decided to be a PITA tonight and won't let me load my digital programs (HRD and DM780) that I have been using for over a decade. Not sure what's going on and will have to investigate and maybe re-load the program. Anyway, I hope it's fixed by next week. |

We most likely need a volunteer this week, too. It's up in the air if I'll make in back to the shack in time, if I do you should see at least one warning before the net, but there's no way I'll be able to do a full countdown from 2330Z onwards. Hopefully I make it back in time enough to at least attend! |

One station so far, not hearing anyone else. OK, done with the net. Not sure if bad conditions or no one else was listening (I was seeing other stuff on the waterfall, so probably just no one else.) One station with 100% copy and band seemed relatively quiet. |

Got two of you so far, the band is pretty bad. ETA: sort of two of you, lost #2 after the check in, band seems to be getting worse. Bagged the net with no other stations heard. So 2 check ins heard, 1 that replied back, plus NC this week, on a pretty crappy band. |
| Could hear net control cutting in and out, didn't hear anyone else. Very weak signal. Surprised you heard me at all. There was a CW station just off frequency during most of the net that made it really hard to hear anything here. |

It was S0 noise level here, so if there was any signal around, I could hear it. I heard the CW station as well and brought in the 500 Hz filter and it took care of it. I was very surprised with my copy of the other station, as it was 100% ghost print. Looked like a completely empty waterfall from my side. |

My antenna got damaged last week during storms. I had hoped to get it up today, but we've had a lot of major storms all day long, the last of which is getting ready to hit. Hopefully, I'll be operational. Here's a couple of pics from max velocity. First pic is the one that hit us earlier and supposedly had a tornado in it. Band must be doing better because I keep seeing signals for other modes on frequency. Hopefully we don't have to bump up/down to avoid traffic. ETA: I haven't sent any reminders since there's a CW signal that's been yabbering on frequency for the past 10 minutes or so. |

[/shrug] The fades I saw on one station were pretty deep, I saw a swing of +13dB to -14dB in the course of a minute or so, it seemed like the band was getting a lot weaker as the net, short as it was, wore on. Hopefully things are better next week. I suspect it's still far to early for 40M to work. |

Rough copy on 20m. I had NC pretty good on first pre-net reminders, but almost lost you on the 10 min reminder and got about one word of the 5 min reminder.. All very sparce copy after that. Got partial copy on PPO. Deep fades on NC. Solar flux is down to 100, maybe that has something to do with it? ETA: Band came back, so I re-checked and got in. Prop on NC went from near zero to S7 +8 dB in about a minute. Crazy prop! |
