Locally there is a gentleman that volunteers with various churches to help clean out the homes of members that have passed. He primarily focuses on clearing out hazardous materials. He takes this material to the county facility that disposes of this type of thing. This includes loaded ammunition and components. I have been introduced to him, and now I will be able to get a lot of these discarded items. Already I have benefited with thousands of primers, bullets and powder. I mention it because something similar probably happens in many communities, and might be a source to look into. You might check with your local facility that handles these items and see if you can benefit. |
