Ok guys, got a little present for you.
Yesterday I saved a number of Army TCCC medical classroom guides from the trashpile. I spoke with the instructors at the CLS school who told me they are not FOUO, nor are they marked as such. They said they are mine to do with as I wish, as they get pissed that all the students seem to throw them away after the classes. I consistently see a lot of individuals asking where they can find basic medical training at, and these books are perfect for that. I just can't allow these books to go into the trash when they could help somebody who legitimately wants to learn medical skills. Basically, send me an email with your mailing address and I will continue mailing books until I run out. Depending on the number of emails I get I may try to go and secure more. My only request is that you ask for the books only if you need it, if you are lacking in medical trauma training and want to further your knowledge. They are rather large and a little heavy, so I will be spending a bit of money mailing them out, so make it worth it for me to do so by legitimately needing them. I will try to start getting them out as soon as possible with my work schedule. As a caveat, I guarantee nothing in these books for you and they are being given out for entertainment purposes only. Do with them as you will, but I am not a medical professional, nor do these books make you one. My email is [email protected], please do not IM as my inbox will fill up quick that way. |

Ok, update time.
I have recorded every name and address sent to me at this time in order of receipt. Those of you who didn't send an addy with your request have a placeholder with your name pending the address. I will continue writing names down as I get them. I have roughly 30 books right now, so I have enough to cover the majority of the requests I have now. I spoke with the instructor at the school and he said I can come back after another iteration has completed next week and ask if any of the students do not want their books to get some more. Some of you and definitely anyone sending a request after the time of this post will have to wait about a week for their book but I will do my best to get one for anyone who wants one. I appreciate the offers to assist with postage, but due to the fact that these were government property up until issue, I would rather just cover it myself to avoid any allegations of impropriety on my part (ie selling the books for a profit). I should start shipping them out Monday. |

All names have been recorded thus far. I have about double the requests as I have books on hand, which I anticipated.
I do not foresee any issues getting more books at the end of the week. Hopefully by next week I can have quite a few, as I will be bulk mailing a bunch to units in Afghanistan as well as they don't have access to them. I should have enough to cover everyone here as well as that. |

Similar, but that one is put out by CALL. It has a lot of the same stuff but the one I have is more of a crawl, walk, run style lesson plan. There are TCCC guides online, but these books are going into the trash anyway I would like for them to go into the hands of people who would use them instead. |
