I am trying to figure out what the exact differences are between the obr predatobr and predatar? Basically I have a lot of money burning in my pocket but no clear goal in mind at this point....

Soooo is the barrel worth the 500 dollar difference then? just trying to wrap my head around the price difference is all, about how accurate MOA is the obr, predobr compared to the predAR

With the PredatOBR you are also getting:  option of 14.5", PST (Port Selector Technology) for suppressed/unsuppressed shooting, slightly shorter handguard, 3 picatinny rail sections (as opposed to 1 with the PredatAR), 2 USGI mags (as opposed to 1).

Is it worth the extra $500 - I don't know.  I like it because of the option of the 14.5" OBR barrel.  If that matters to you, it would cost alot more to re-fit a PredatAR with that barrel and from what I have "heard", the PredatAR chassis can't be cut down to accomodate 14.5" barrels, so you would have to go with 16/18".

YMMV.

hmmmmmm so the 14.5, forgive me for asking but is the flash hidder pinned on or something to bring it to 16 inches in overall length? I am not sure if that is the case or not so I am curious.

If they dont' ask for your NFA info, it has a pinned flash hider / comp. of your choice from the ones LT carries.

You can get a 14.5 pinned and welded with a SF brake. Add a suppressor when ready!
