| Anyone else have kids who for some reason decide they want your dillo?!? I used my dillo this weekend for the first time, which I should say is just awesome! Anyways after setting it down on the coffee table from taking the cap off the brew, my 4 year old daughter took it and ran lol! She refused to give it back to me and claimed it hers haha. Only way I could get her to give it up is by telling her, I will get her one next time I order. Everyday after that, my dillo has become her number one quest to hunt down in the house. I just though this was hilarious and wondered if anyone else had this type of experience with their kids... |

She will have her own AR eventually, I'm sure in pink ha! She's actually been pointing out pink rifles everytime we walk into a gun shop, and insists on buying her one. It's awesome. |
I opened my box of swag today at the office (I have stuff shipped to work so UPS doesn't leave it on my porch.  ) The dillo was passed around and I wound up letting a coworker keep it. The one I actually use at home during parties is always a topic of conversation, even among those you might call sheep.

One removed violently from it's pristine packaging. I have found them in horrible conditions in their bedrooms strewn randomly amongst foul teenager laundry where they had been brutally misused for prying open a paint can of candy. ..........   ... I'm sorry .. I need a moment......
Once.. I found my purple dillo in my daughters golf bag: It had been used to open root beer and cream sodas on the 19th hole.

| WOW! I am really amazed at how complete strangers are willing to give to another! I had a rough day at work today, and we all know how that can be. This thread along with the kind gestures others have offered just made my night!!! Harley1 and rookie421, thank you! This was definitely unexpected and I hope I can make the same impact/contribution to someones day like mine today! Sorry if I sound like an emotional woman right now, I just had to deal with a situation at my new job that has been very stressful today. All the hype I read about on this forum about the dillo and dust in the past got me excited to order from larue, other than the quality products and customer service they are known for... but the generousity and kindness is something else. I think I found what the real hype is all about!!! Thank you!!! |

Yeah my Daughter turned 4 this past February and she keeps asking me for a Pink Dillo. This little toot is like Dad the Black one is for Boys and the Pink one is for the Girls. I tell ya they will be driving before we know it. |

It's crazy! My daughter is the same way with clothes. We do not go shopping without picking her up clothes, she is very in to clothes and shoes!!! And she's only 4, she gets all butthurt if we dont take her clothes shopping haha! Quoted:

i have gotten the same response when giving the pink Warrior Angles to the gals and nurses that have assisted me with my cancer. A great local organization here is Help for Health that helps people with cancer in the county only with travel expenses.

Well there aren't any kids in the house these days, as they are all out on their own now. 
But I do have the same Dillo theft problem as you guys do. The Wifey thinks any box that has the LaRue tape on it needs to opened. Swag gets pilfered, and the Dillo's are the first items to disappear. I found where she stashes them, and she's got more Dillo's than I do. She also has every color of LaRue hats, and a nice collection of the"God Bless out Troops" stickers. But she leaves the items that were ordered intact. (for now) |

Great, I always get worried with the postal service. They have not yet lost anything I have sent but,I have not received a few items.
