Hello everyone... Just wanted to drop a quick line about the little Vortex Solo monocular 8x I picked up. I'm a first time vortex purchaser and didn't want to drop a lot of cash on an optic I'm not familar with. Plus I needed a quick little monocular for work. This fit the bill perfectly. I'm an avid user or Nightforce, Leupold, Zeiss, Trijicon optics. I paid somewhere around $50 bucks for this little optic and I am very impressed. Optics are crisp and clear edge to edge. Contrast and clarity were nice and I did not notice any halo effect of abbreviations. I did not expect this type of quality for $50. Optic came with a case and neck lanyard. If this little scope is an indication of their attention to detail then I will be a future Vortex customer. My next purchase will be an angled Skyline ED for Service Rifle Competition. |
