Fourth plus !!! I want to someday be able to afford a top tier scope like S&B, but the upper Vortex is all I can manage unless I just sit and hold the scope and pretend it's mounted to something....
Viper PST or even the HST LT packages would be a Godsend.......Please?.... |
| I'm in on this too if it happens. I would say stick to viper PST line and above, but would be nice for those of us that have less invested in our pickups than a new S&B or a Kahles runs. I fully understand the LaRue reputation of providing the highest quality products, and those previously mentioned are exceptional, but I would like the option of buying an optic from Mark and crew without having to sell one of my kids.....or the wife. |

I had looked for the same thing a couple years ago when I purchased my Gen2 4x27...
Since Larue didnt offer any Vortex combos at the time I went with a different mount(non Larue) that I was able to get at a bit of a discount and was recommended to me by someone who's opinion I respect. I dont regret the purchase, the mount is solid and performs well, but had a combo been available I would have likely went Larue... |

I believe it has been there at least 3-4 years. I bought the mount from Larue and the Viper pst from my local dealer. I hope they add them to the site because I'm thinking about a Razor gen II for the 260 when it gets here. |

The order form actually says you can buy 2 products per category per year. Categories include Riflescopes, Red Dots, Binoculars, Spotting Scopes, Monoculars, Tripods, and Various Accessories. Shipping is $10. Only bad thing about the program is that you have to order through the Vortex program rep and may have to wait up to 3 months for them to get some items in stock. If you're impatient, or have an immediate need, you may be better off hitting Optics Planet with a 10% off coupon. The discount is also off the Vortex MSRP, which is discounted by most resellers, so your actual savings over buying from a reseller is more in the 15-20% range.
