After some time, I cooled down some and so Iv removed and Im now replacing my review, but Im still going to tell it like it is, and if it pisses someone off...so be it.
Iv been unemployed for several months, and so like everyone moneys tight. I started working again last week, but at a large drop in pay, so I dont plan on any "Extra" money for some time, but was promised... "once you return to work, you can get a Sparc"
I was looking forward all week to picking one up.
This morning I woke to the better half daughter handing me her moms debit card, and being told to go get a "Sparc"
We took our 40 minute drive and we picked one up. I FINALLY had my optic!
I opened it to find everything VERY WELL packed and clearly wasnt messed with since packaged.
Doing the normal playing we all do with a new toy, I notice a broken O-ring on a cap...ok
I pull the other cap, and the retaining cable pops apart in my hand.
GREAT, what else... so I drive BACK to exchange it.
They look it over and being I had it for only 1.5 hours, they desided it was ok to exchange it, but only after telling me crap like "it was ok and it would still work"
He goes back to the department and grabs a replacment and I ask to see it. He hands it to me, and in seconds.... the same problem, and a CLEARLY cross threaded battery cap!
two units = four problems......
Before this, I was planning on picking one up tomarrow at Rainier Arms.
Do I go by the positve reviews, and guess the ones today were probibly made at the same time, and a fluke? Go with 3rd times a charm, and try again? or go without optics, and have nothing good to say about them?
