shot a friends AR with a two stage trigger and liked it. Any ideas what can be done on my colts ? mike

Two things:

1.  Leave the trigger alone - it's a battle rifle, not a sniper rifle.
2. Have the new low-mass hammer, etc., installed.  SAW does it and it improves the trigger without going too far.

Adco-
They have duty quality 2 stage triggers(Geissele). RRA has a cheap  2-stage as well, which I have found to be highly reliable. Adco will uprgade those as well. He also carries LMT 2 stage which is very similar to Knight's setup, which are very hard to find. I hate factory Colt triggers. Hell, my factory FAL trigger is worlds better than the Colt.

Do you have a low mass hammer?
How does it handle surplus primers?

Yes, I do.  No worries.  Ken Elmore wouldn't do the work on Colts if it made them less reliable.
