I recently ordered a Switchview lever from Vortex for my 1-4x PST. It took them forever to get the item out to me. When I finally received it the diameter of the hole, where the screw is inserted to tighten the lever, was too large and not threaded. The ring itself was threaded, which I thought was strange. Usually when two parts need to tighten together, the initial hole is slightly larger and unthreaded, while the other end is threaded to accept the screw. I think they mixed it up during the manufacturing process.

Anyway, does anyone else have a problem with these? I also thought these were quite expensive for what they are. Maybe Vortex can help me out?

Just looked at mine, and I'm not sure what you mean.

On mine, the half with the lever on it is tapped and the other half is drilled to clearance the bolts.

Hey, very sorry to hear that something on the Switchview might not be lining up right. If you think there's something wrong with the item, please give customer care a call at 800-426-0048 ext. 4 and they will be happy to talk with you about it. If it winds up being defective, they can get it swapped out. Thanks again and please let me know if there's anything else we can do for you.
