I am wanting to buy a scope for a 308 bolt action rifle. I was wanting to spend between 100 and 325 or so. Any suggestions?? thinking 6-24 variable, but i am up for suggestions. would primarily be used for varmint hunting and plinking. thanks

On the high end the Weaver V24 6-24x42 at $329.95 would be very nice. On the low end the Simmons WTC 6.5-20x50 at $99.95 is hard to beat. In the middle the Bushnell Trophy 6-18x40 for $199.95 is a safe choice too.
