Before I get too excited…will small parts be billet or MIM? Not interested in another mediocre 2011 with mim parts. If billet, PLEASE offer an option not optic ready so we can get the slide milled instead of using plates. Or offer an option that’s ready for an RMR direct with no plate. |

I wanted to select four things, but y’all said three only. I selected three crazy things because I suspect many others will select this and it will be made anyway, and that’s what I’m hoping. This isn’t my normal type of fun but I’ve been eyeing something like this and if y’all bring it to market I’ll definitely order one. Oh yeah, it needs to be offered in OD Green too. |
And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.

And it’s still a pass for me. 2011 magazines don’t need nearly as much length as a Glock does for considerably more capacity. Mec-Gar can get a bit more by getting rid of Glock’s dumb plastic over stamped metal body, but still can’t do the same as a 2011 magazine with the same length. |

I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke me and say "You're next". They stopped that when I started doing it to them at funerals.

2011 mags are, indeed, a joke. Hence why the glock mag 2011’s are so popular. If it’s a two-piece frame, I’d recommend looking into modular grips for different mags. Beretta 92, CZ75, glock, and other common, inexpensive mags with decent track records. 320 mags are… Ehh… Less than optimal, but can be had in 20+ capacity for cheap compared to most of the others. |

And that’s coming from someone who also has piles of Glock magazines. This isn't correct at all, the 2011 mag is less height efficient due to its weird tapering top end. And now mecgar is making 18rd metal mags the length of Glock mags and shorter than a 17rd 2011 mag. |

I’m just happy they finally went to an actual 9mm mag. Maybe we’ll get lucky and there will be different grip solutions. I’d absolutely be interested in one that could use all my 226/X5 mags. |

I was assuming based on their business model that this would be a high volume, low profit item like most of their other products but maybe that’s not what they’re going for here. Maybe this is a true “premium” product and they’re going after the big dogs. |

In the 2011 world, a $2,000 gun is very much cheap when you consider 2011’s go into the 5 digit prices. |

Staccato mags are nowhere near $100 and run as reliably as Glock. Sorry that upsets you. Don’t know why so many of you are so worked up about it anyway. They’ll probably go with Duramag or have their own made for $30-$40. Imagine being so worked up about the type of mag it uses that you get tunnel vision and pretend the only option that exists is Staccato mags. |

So what are we trying to do with this pistol? Build something above average as most people looking for a double stack 1911 are? Or are we trying to have a pistol that simply supports supply lines? . I probably got 50+ glock mags. But I understand the reason I want a double stack 1911 is that I want something a cut above my other pistols. |

With 2011 mags that would be an extra $700. With Magpul Glock magazines it would be an extra $70. Logistically speaking, a budget 2011 sounds good on paper. But none of them have really taken off and that’s likely due to being Turkish and the cost of magazines. I keep a rotation of 15 magazines for each pistol. I have never spent more on magazines than a gun and would really prefer to keep it that way myself. |

What’s your obsession with Staccato mag prices and assuming that’s how much they’ll be just because they’re 2011 pattern mags? There’s other options. Duramag is making a good 2011 magazine and can be found for $30-$40. Not to mention PSA could just as well have their own mags made entirely for around the same price point. You’re so stuck on a $70+ magazine that you can’t even entertain anything anyone is saying lol. Also, NO ONE wants a Magpul Glock magazine for any serious use. Like NO ONE. |

The mag cost has plummeted which is great and should have happened years ago. The Springfield DS 26rd mags are $30 which is half of what I paid for some mags quite a while ago. That's pretty close to the cost of the Glock 24rd mags. Yeah they're more than a 17rd glock mag but that doesn't seem like a great comparison with such a big capacity difference. 15 $30 mags is $450 bucks which is cheaper than almost every 2011 on the market and substantially cheaper than any of the American made guns. If I end up keeping my STI's I'll have to try one out. Springfield 26rd mags |

Duramag makes them but Springfield has a sole source contract for them. That’s not to say PSA couldn’t work something out with Springfield, but logistically the more middlemen the more profit loss, and the more risk the supply chain has. PSA ships the Daggers with Magpul magazines, not me, so that’s an argument for someone else. The only sure way to make everyone happy is to make both. Glock fed 2011’s are taking off and it’s for good reason. |

Wait, didn’t a ton of people have issues with Prodigy mags? Base plates breaking and followers seizing up? So I searched them and it got more interesting. Duramag is C-Products after they changed their name. The company that lied about supplying the military. The company that put out countless magazines that didn’t work and accused dozens upon dozens of people here of lying about it. The company that set up fake accounts here to make fake positive reviews. The company who has a lifetime ban from this very website. No thanks. |

If you want something that takes glock mags, then go buy a GLOCK!! But but but, I have lots of them and I want everything I own to use muh glock mags. Yea well you know what, I have a crap ton of Beretta 92 mags, but you do not see me crying for every new pistol being made to be able to take Beretta 92 mags. This would be like saying to any company bringing out a new 45 auto pistol, DOES IT TAKE 1911 MAGS? WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT DOES NOT TAKE 1911 MAGS? I DO NOT WANT IT THEN. Its like the LS engine of the gun world. Lets put a LS in everything!!! Yea they are good engines, but they are not the end all be all of engines and it is so sickingly boring to see them in EVERYTHING. 2011 mags are perfectly fine, and you know what, the 2011 was designed to use...wait for it...2011 magazines!!! Sure, you can make it a option to keep that small corner of the market happy. Offer a replacement grip module to use glock mags as a add on option. |
