Today I was at the dept. range when two Firearms instructors from a different station showed up.  I was shooting two of my personal AR's when they saw me swapping the my Aimpoint out for my Acog - both on Larue mounts.  I kept shooting then when I was done, swapped back.  The two instructors came up to me and said that there is no way that it could return to zero when you take them on and off like that.  So I pulled out another mag and let em have it.  Swapped optics about every 5 rounds.  At 50 yds, all rounds went into a 2.5 in circle taget I was shooting at.

I threw in there of coarse that they were LARUE mounts.....
I was shocked that these two armorers for a federal agency had never heard of them.

I have come to notice that just because you have a armorer cert, it doesn't mean you know anything other than what was exactly in the class...

Same goes with any degree..

On several occasions, I've had conversations with police officers who purported themselves to be shooters, and I have been underwhelmed by their knowledge of weapons/gear... and don't even get me started on all the police officers I see at gun shows picking up UTG rail systems (and I use the term loosely).
