I have the SMC, and I love it! But I have a question.
When I first got it I had it on my AR, and recently I got the MOE forend for my 870 and decided I wanted the light on there more than the AR, so I just took it off and put it on the MOE forend of the 870, noting seemed wrong, so I ASSumed that everything would work. Yesterday, I finally got a chance to take it shooting and when I got home I noticed that the light clamp itself was loose, so Itightened it back up. My question is this: will this happen everytime I take it out shooting, or should I just drop a tiny bit of loktite on it and call it good? Is there a difference between the SMC for the AR, and the 870 MOE? Untill just now I didnt notice you had the option on the dropdown box(in all honesty, its been while since I've been on your site.  )

YES... Thread locker on the backing plates is a great idea to solve your issue. |
