MBT trigger reviews were scattered here and there, so I've gathered them all up into this thread .

My initial impressions upon receiving the trigger was that it is an extremely high quality trigger group. The fit and finish is nothing short of amazing, and the pinned disconnector is a thing of genius. No more fumbling holding things together during assembly. The set, like everyone else has reported, came with a single pin, which is no problem as I keep extras around. When I received it, the group was pretty dry, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It allows you to lube it as you please.

So, after a quick inspection, I quickly grabbed my precision rifle that holds the top spot on these nifty forum challenges. Pulled the lower and removed the Larue Black gold trigger. I worked so hard to source that and was easily capable of using that trigger to shoot .2-.4 moa groups. So many people complained about it but it was truly excellent! Annnnnd, popped in the MBT. The first thing I noticed was it felt a little... odd. The initial pull was great, the reset felt like it was binding. I applied a little geissele grease, which I had consulted with Mark on, to make sure that was ok, and he agreed it was the definite choice. It helped but wasn't perfect. I probably bugged the hell out of Mark, but I shot him another message to see what the deal was.

While I waited for his reply, I pulled the trigger group from the rifle. Sat there and cleaned the hell out of it, and then reapplied geissele grease, installed again, made sure a good amount was reapplied, and started to reassemble the rifle to assess the trigger pull. Before Mark could even get back to me, I found myself in heaven. The trigger was all that I had expected. It just needed a nice cleaning and it was good to go. I dry fired it while laying in the prone on my living room floor. Smooth pull, no play, no creep, perfect trigger control and manipulation. I even got my girlfriend to try it 5-10 times. Her immediate words? "That's the nicest AR trigger I've ever felt." Not to be taken lightly, as she HATES ARs. She believes they are the Honda of the gun world. A toy you can piece together and mess with, a la rice rocket. She does own an AR with a Geissele SSA-E, so she does know her triggers. Her true weapon of choice though? a Springfield Armory M1A Scout Squad. Still an excellent choice, so I'll keep her around a bit longer. (Though I know any of you who read the thread about my self defense shooting in my home would kill me for even the thought of letting her go!)

ANYWAYS.... I then proceeded to go on my vacation to visit family. That was the roughest 5 days ever, because it was a trip to California. No guns.

I arrived home and cleared my schedule to ensure I could get to the range as soon as possible, and today was that day. Got up early, grabbed a few rifles and off I went. It was a brisk 35-40 degrees, 1mph wind. A little foggy. But no matter, the games must go on.

After setting up my target at the 100 yard line, I loaded up 2 magazines. I wanted to shoot in the format of the MOA all day challenge, as I'm comfortable with it. So I loaded 25 rounds. 2 20 Round pmags, 1 containing 15 rounds of 69gr Federal Gold Medal Match and 5 of my reloads, and the second mag with the other 5 reloads. Normally I wouldn't mix loads like that, but I know my rifle prefers 77gr, so I wanted to get rid of the FGMM.

Under normal circumstances I'll shoot 1 round to warm the barrel up a little, but not this time. I wanted to just do a sloppy run to get a feel for the trigger.

So I dropped to the prone, loaded up the first magazine with 5 rounds of my reloads and shot away. Despite the cold bore shot, and never shooting this trigger before, I was pleasantly surprised with the results, and proceeded to the next magazine to get this done. Now my range does 10 minutes of shooting, then goes cold to reset targets or whatever you want to do. So lets do the math. 25 rounds, 10 minutes... 24 seconds per round. factor in the mag change, adjusting to get used to the trigger, etc... It's not a ton of time. Needless to say, I ran out of time with the very last round. Good old 25 went wide because they were on the bull horn telling everyone to cease fire.

After 25 rounds with the trigger, I sat back and thought to myself just how easy and pleasant the trigger was the shoot. Perfect take up, amazing break, absolutely no creep, VERY smooth. The wider trigger was also MUCH more pleasant than I had anticipated.

Now, despite that last round ruining my groups, I felt I would be better off showing you guys the target. Because lets be honest here, everyone and their mother has posted pictures of the actual trigger. And I doubt any of you wanna see my rifle, since it's been posted before.

This came out more like a story than a review. So before I keep going, I'll just say this.

Positives:
-Excellent fit and finish
-Perfect pull weight
-Smooth take up
-Nice break
-No Creep
-Wide trigger feels excellent and gives you lots of control

Negatives:
Can't think of any yet!

Next up for this trigger? I'll be swapping it into one of my SBR's and giving it a good old combat work out instead of precision shooting.

Mark, all I've got for you is, my hats off. You've truly outdone yourself. I'm half tempted to list my Black gold trigger for sale, as I don't think I'll use it any more in my precision rifle, and I surely don't feel like it's my choice for an SBR/Combat/Defense rifle. Quite a predicament you've put me in. And if the MBT performs as well in the SBR's as it did today, then I might be having to sell a lot more of my trigger collection.

Thank you, thank you, and THANK YOU, Mark. You are a true gentleman. I appreciate the opportunity to shoot this trigger!

Without further ado, here's the target from today, the first 25 rounds with the trigger, shot with ammo that's not ideal for the rifle. Amazing results still!

Built my second rifle with a KAC (the first one became my backup) and was really pleased with how this trigger felt and broke but had one problem, when I went to let-off the trigger to reset it was gritty. Not a big deal but when you are on the line your mind doesn't need to be thinking about the trigger after the shot.....but before the shot. I was thinking more about the let-off with that trigger then the squeeze of the trigger.

Jerked the RRA out of the first rifle and installed the MBT. I've never used a Gisselle but can't imagine it being any better then the MBT. Take-up, break and let-off is as smooth as I have ever shot. After using it with just 50 rounds (over 100 practice dry-fires) it excites me to know I'll be taking this to the line when the season starts.

First impressions:

1) Packaging is very, very well done. In fact, this is the only trigger I have that hasn't shown up in a ziploc baggie.

2) Score - My trigger is 007 - thanks for engraving the 100 'give away' triggers

3) Machining looks perfect, as does the finish. The disconnector is not held in by the trigger pin, so there is no pre-assembly or slave pin needed to hold it together.

4) Installation - I dropped it into a bare lower to get an idea how it feels, there's one or two triggers this could 'bump' and I wanted to do as few trigger swaps as possible. Using a G-trigger alignment thingy, installed very easily.

How does it feel...

Well it's a hell of a nice 2 stage. Really nice in fact.

The pull is right on the money as described 4 pounds 8.3 ounce average after 10 measured pulls. Maybe 1 or 2 oz variation, but that's on a bare lower in a rest. First stage is very smooth 2.5 pounds, where you hit a wall and another 2 pounds breaks the trigger.

Good positive reset, not as short as an AR-Gold.

I will be moving some triggers around and in the next day or two will do a bit more of a write-up and see if I can't give a comparison against a few of the triggers I have. And more importantly, go and shoot it.

Edit - this post is useless without photos...

I love this trigger. The first stage take-up is short but well defined. It feels a bit less than the SSA it replaced but still enough to to give total control. (I do have a set screw installed to take up trigger pre-slack so that could be the reason the first stage feels shorter) The stop as it hits the second stage is solid, well defined and very controllable. Just a bit more squeeze and the break is nice and crisp. As with the first stage, the weight to break the trigger feels less than the SSA and when it goes, it feels like breaking a pencil lead. It's instantaneous and there is absolutely no slop or travel. It's simply squeeze and break. The broad width of the trigger feels great on my fat finger and just fits.

I can easily say that I like this trigger more than the SSA. (which I also love) I wish I had an SSA-E on hand to compare to but the MBT is going to be a tough act to follow.

Mark and company scored another win with this one.

I was the first winner in the drawing here on ar15.com. Still can't believe it, should have bought a lottery ticket as well that day...

So, like others here, I received a MBT-2S trigger on Friday the 19th. I was able to install it that evening but I wasn't able to post here about it until now. I'm working 12-hour days and I was well and truly exhausted...

First, the obligatory pictures:

"The Box" along with my LT hat I wear on the job pretty much every day...

Contents of "The Box"...

Close-up of the trigger in it's cool packaging...

There can only be ONE and here it is...001/100...Thank You, Mark Larue!

And, lastly, the trigger and the rifle it went into just prior to installation. The rifle is what I like to refer to as a DMR-ish type M-4gery...16" BCM BFH barrel with a 10" Larue FF handguard. EO-Tech EXPS-3 and G33 Magnifier. Pretty damned accurate, now it has a trigger that will do it justice...

My initial impressions from dry firing today:
This afternoon, I was able to compare it to a couple of rifles of a friend that have Geissele triggers, one with a SSA and another with a SSA-E. We didn't have a trigger pull gauge, however, so I can't give you exact weights on the triggers...I can only tell you what they felt like to ME. First stage is pretty similar on all 3 of the triggers. Second stage is where I noticed the biggest difference. The MBT-2S broke lighter than the SSA but not quite as light as the SSA-E. The second stage of the MBT-2S had very little creep and very little over-travel...less in both categories than either of the Geissele triggers. The break itself is very clean and "sharp". I read another review that compared it to like "breaking pencil lead". I strongly concur...very nice break.

Other observations:
I really like how wide the trigger itself is but the edge seems just a little sharp, it could use a wee bit more of a radius in it...just my $0.02.  Very "beefy" construction, looks over-engineered and built to last. They're listed as being made from S7 Tool Steel...here's what I was able to dig up about S7 Tool Steel: "S7 is a shock-resistant air hardening tool steel, designed for high impact resistance at relatively high hardness. It offers toughness to withstand chipping and breaking, combined with high attainable hardness and good wear resistance. Typical Applications- Heavy Impact Punches, Warm Forging/Heading Dies, Plastic Injection Molds, Shear Blades, Powder Compaction Punches." Hmmmmm...sounds pretty much like the perfect material for a premium trigger group for AR's. Imagine that...

Installation was easy and straightforward but, as stated elsewhere, you will have to remove the safety selector to install it. I went ahead and put a small dab of Molybdenum Disulfide grease on the bearing surfaces to help keep everything working smoothly.

I should be able to get out to the range and give the rifle a proper workout next weekend. I'll follow up with another review after that but color me very impressed as of now. And I'm not easy to please...I work on aircraft parts for a living. If something's not right, it's my job to bitch about it. "No Free Rides".

Guys, it looks like Mark & the folks at Larue Tactical have a real winner here. If you're sitting on the fence whether or not to get one, you're wasting time. These are kick-ass triggers...

Hmmmm........
My calipers have a dead battery but the problem was easy to spot without measuring.
The trigger is a tad wide and won't fit into the safety, or the safety is too narrow for the trigger.
Either way It won't work in my A2 lower until I get a safety that has a slightly wider notch.

Robbed the safety from my CavAid lower(remember those?)  It works.
So, out with the Jard, in with the MBT

A little background:  I am a big fan of 2-stage triggers.  Every AR15/AR10 I own has one.  I was a huge fan of the RRA trigger for years.  Since then I have owned many Geissele's.  SSA, SSA-E, HS NM DMR, G2S.  I have had good and some bad experiences with lots of triggers over the years.

Upon initial inspection, I noticed a few things:

LaRue has used a roll pin instead of the traditional J-pin to hold the hammer spring from walking.  Interesting.  I also noticed it holds it very tightly, which is a good thing.

The overall design of the trigger is very similar to the early Armalite/RRA 2-stage triggers, it uses a pinned disconnector.  RRA on the left, LaRue on the right:

RRA uses .155" oversized pins, which have to be pounded into the lower:

LaRue uses standard .154" pins.  They were easy to assemble to the lower:

The trigger assembly, since the disconnector is pinned, is very easy to install to the lower.  No "fitting pin" is really needed like with other triggers which use a floating disconnector.  Just drop in and install the pin.

The hammer install like all AR15 hammers, laying the hammer spring legs on top of the trigger pin, to keep the trigger pin from walking.  For some reason, this hammer is easier to install than others, perhaps because of its shape and smoothed edges.  I used a small rubber/brass tap hammer to tap the hammer pin past the "j-pin" in the hammer, which is require for most all triggers.

On to installing the safety.

As a lefty - I use a Troy ambi-safety in all my weapons. I love them.  However, it was incompatible with this trigger.  The tail of the LaRue trigger bar is a bit too wide to fit into this safety.  The Troy safety is really narrow compared to factory safeties I had laying around, which is was impacted this.  I'll probably modify the LaRue trigger to fit in the future, but for now I assembled it with a factory Rock River safety.  It went together perfectly.

On to testing the trigger.

The actual trigger surface of the LaRue MBT is unique, it is wide and flat, but utilizes a curved bow.  At first look, I thought I would not like the feel of the trigger.  However, once I sat down and start dry firing, I realized how much I like the wide flat face of the trigger, as compared to other triggers.

The first stage take-up of the MBT was lighter than several other triggers I own, and exceedingly smooth.  It came immediately and consistently to a wall which is the second stage.  A good 2-stage trigger will allow you to be able to come up to your second stage, and hold, let off, and consistently repeat.  The LaRue trigger is actually the smoothest of my triggers in this department.

On the second stage:  It was heavier feeling than my RRA and Geissele triggers, but very crisp.  I don't have a gauge for trigger pull weights, mostly because I go by what feels good, I never cared about poundage measurements.  I'd describe the MBT as a light first stage, and heavy 2nd stage trigger.  The second stage has just an ever so slightly detectable amount of creep.  This is not bad - ALL 2-stage triggers with this design do.  The engagement surfaces have a small amount of travel before releasing the hammer.  I could just detect this when I pulled incredibly slowly, watching the trigger bar closely.  Upon dry firing in a normal manner this was not noticeable.  Then the trigger breaks like a candy cane snapping, with a slight amount of overtravel.

I set up a Geissele SSA, SSA-E, and a High Speed National Match DMR side by side with this trigger.

First stage, the MBT was the smoothest of the bunch.  The SSA/SSA-E was a close second.  My DMR trigger has some grit in the first stage.

All three have a very solid hit into the second stage wall, which is repeatable.  This is nice when engaging multiple targets at distance, where you very quickly pull through the first stage to rest on the second stage, while you are acquiring and holding on your next target, and you begin your squeeze through the second stage.

The weight of the second stage was lightest in the SSA-E, which I use in my 3-gun rifle.  However, the SSA-E has a lot of detectable creep in the second stage.  I din this common when the second stage is light, as it is in the SSA-E.  I generally don't mind because I use that trigger as a single stage most of the time, running and gunning.

The break in all these triggers is great.  Very consistent, and crisp.  The flat wide surface of the MBT provides really good feedback to your finger during the second stage and through the break.

On overtravel, which is the distance the trigger moves from the break to the max trigger travel, the MBT was the least of all my triggers.  You don't want much trigger movement after the break in a precision trigger, so this is very good!

On reset -

I like a VERY short, and VERY noticeable reset.  This seems to be rare in triggers.  Seems the shortest resets also are very light, such as on the AR Gold trigger.  The MBT had a very noticeable reset, loud audibly and via feel.  It was not long, and comparable to the other triggers I was testing side by side.  The only ding I can say, is the weight of the reset, was very light, it didn't pull your finger forward, you felt yourself having to let off.  I prefer a heavier weight here on the reset.  This is defined by the trigger spring weight, of which the LaRue MBT was already the lightest of the bunch.  My personal preference would be a slightly heavier trigger spring.  Overall, reset is very strong.

Nice trigger.  I am thrilled to own it, and look forward to getting some real trigger time.  I installed it in my precision AR, which is a Krieger barreled, LaRue railed, tack driver.

Going into this rifle for now--replacing a Geissele SD-3G

All done!

Disclaimer: I bought my first Geissele a little over a year ago so I'm relatively new to the trigger game...this is more of your average joe opinion vs a technical review

First Impressions:

Fit/Finish: The feel of this thing is fantastic.  It feels wider to my finger than the Geissele did, though I'm not sure if it is.  Someone thought the edges were a little rough, but I haven't noticed any discomfort with it yet.  The trigger itself is also absolutely beautiful--it's very difficult to show the true color in the pictures (and perhaps it was just the light I had near), but it seemed to almost just have this faint hint of a bronze color to it.

Installation:  Installation was very easy...I went ahead and removed my safety as another user suggested.  Very nice to not have to worry about lining up the disconnector as well, though that's usually not really a problem.  I will say the trigger pin felt a bit more loose than my Geissele pins did, but once I got the hammer in the pin is nice and tight.

Trigger: Coming from the SD-3G the first stage of the MBT-2S was slightly longer than I was expecting, but after 20-30 dry fires it felt very good.  Compared to the Geissele there was no overtravel and the reset was just as if not more crisp (the MBT-2S is definitely louder).  The break was clean with no noticeable grit and any would probably go away with use.  I also dry-fired it pulling through the first stage to get a feel of the full 4.5lb weight--I definitely need to be decisive if I do that otherwise I can feel the hesitation at the second stage...of course I'm sure that would be the last thing on my mind if I ever pulled it under duress.

Overall:  I am very pleased with this trigger and I think it fits the bill perfectly for what I want to do with this rifle.  The rifle it's in was originally supposed to be a range gun, but I've started thinking it's also going to do duty as home defense.  For that reason the SD-3G is probably too light and the MBT-2S is a great solution for me.  I still feel like I can get those great groupings at the range when going for precision with the clean break of the second stage and minimal pull weight.  I have no experience with the SSA or SSA-E so I can't compare it to those, but I am very happy with the MBT-2S and can already tell it's definitely going to see a lot of use.

Once again, thank you Mark and the rest of the crew at LaRue!

Disclaimer - I won this trigger in the Christmas 2014 giveaway, I did not purchase it.

I have never been a fan of 2-stage triggers. I prefer the crisp break of a really nice single-stage, and always thought that 2-stage triggers felt unnatural. That changed the moment I installed Mark Larue's new MBT-2S trigger.

You can't really tell much from the photos, but this trigger just oozes quality before you ever install it. There is a nice heft that lets you know it is made with quality materials. The packaging tells you that Larue is very proud of this item. The machining is clean, and without any burrs. The finish is smooth and flawless.

My trigger came with a hammer pin, but no trigger pin. I don't know if it was supposed to come with both. But it didn't matter, as I was going to use a set of KNS pins anyhow. As mine was very early production, it's possible it just got left out somehow.

Installing this trigger into my Sig716 was smooth and easy, just like any other trigger. Not as simple as an all-in-one drop-in unit, but it's not exactly difficult to line up some holes and push the pins through.

The moment of truth came when I first dry-fired. The first stage is a light 2.5lbs. It takes no effort to hold it there, but just the slightest squeeze will release the hammer. The second stage is listed at 2lbs, but it felt like mine was a little lighter.

There is no creep. Just an instantaneous clean break. There is no overtravel that I can discern.

Reset the hammer and release the trigger, and there is a solid click to let you know that the trigger is reset.

This trigger is a work of art, and Larue should be proud of their efforts. I will likely obtain another in the near future.

I will start by saying thank you Larue! I was lucky winner number 55 in the MBT Christmas give away and I LOVE this trigger. I own several Larue rifles with both the AR Gold and the Geissele triggers in them for comparison, as well as many match triggers in my bolt rifles. The quality of construction of this trigger is second to none, extremely well made. Installation was easy and the trigger feels fantastic. The reset is not as short as the AR Gold trigger but I much prefer the feel of this MBT with its wider blade it just fits perfect. Another fantastic product from a wonderful company. If you are on the fence about one of these I say go for it, they are one of if not the best AR triggers on the market! Thank you to all the employees at Larue Tactical, you are a phenomenal company making phenomenal products!

The MBT is an absolute fantastic trigger. First stage is well defined, and the second stage is consistently great, with a very nice low pull. I have a single stage CMC trigger installed in one of my hunting ARs and liked it, but the MBT is better in every way. Thanks to everyone at LaRue.

There have been some great reviews thus far. I'm an engineer, not an author, so I will just summarize it with one word - damn. I've been a very pleased SSA fan for several years, but my first impression of the MBT is that it is superior in perhaps every way. The craftsmanship is incredible, and I love the wide, flat face of the trigger. It is very inviting. Much like the RAT stock, I had my doubts that LaRue could out-do the trigger people, but they continue to impress.

I won an MBT trigger through the give-away this year and it arrived yesterday - I appreciate it very much and am grateful for the gift from LaRue! The trigger was beautifully packaged and looks very well built. I have not yet installed or used it yet, but am writing this review to really commend LaRue for their continued excellent service and products. Every time I have called their offices I have talked to a live person who is polite and helpful. Every time I have ordered something from them it has arrived quickly and I have received extra swag such as hats, bbq rub, etc. Most importantly, every time I have bought one of their products they have worked perfectly! It is a fantastic company and has a reputation that is well deserved!

Hello Mark-

MBT - I dropped it in a rifle last night, and wow!   You’ve brought the glass needle to ARs.  Two weeks ago, I heard one guy bit*hing about the price of the MBT in a local shop (I was wearing a LaRue hat so he asked if I knew anything about the MBT and why they were “so expensive”).  I shut him up when I explained how I spent $700 back in ’01 to have an Anschutz trigger installed in my Stolle Panda Palma rifle and that a good trigger is everything to a precision rifle.  Now, I have to track that guy down and tell him that the MBT is just as crisp as that $700 Anschutz.

Not knowing much about how geissele  triggers - other than I think my 7.62 OBR 20" came with one style about 6 months ago.

Knowing I like the trigger and "Outshot a Shootist" by nearly halving the group down to under 0.5MOA.

Would you put the MBT on your list?

I do know the trigger is not like my Weatherby Mark V - a very fine trigger, no creep, clean break.

The reviews seem excellent - I just don't know if swapping out a 6 month old trigger is worth it.

Love my rifle - weather has been great in Mass - heading to the range again after Christmas Break for the kids.

My trigger arrived the Monday before Christmas; unfortunately, I was already traveling and my neighbor had to hold it until I returned.
I put it in a pre-ban PWA lower that has been made "lefty friendly" (BAD-ASS selector, Raptor handle, Troy mag release) and had a Geissele SSA-E.

Well, it "had".

The SSA-E has a lighter second stage (and I have a few), but the MBT feels more... positive. The "break" seems more deliberate.  I also found I prefer the beefier trigger blade on the MBT-2S.
Installation was a snap, especially since the disconnector has its own captive pin and you don't have to worry about aligning both the trigger and disconnector on the trigger pin.
After a couple early reports of fitment issues with the MBT and ambi selectors, I was a bit concerned, but the BAD-ASS works great with the MBT-2S.

The SSA-E will get a new home in a rifle after my move to a free state.

A few semi-potato pics of the new trigger, installed. I've been working on this frame for a while- one day, I'll get a Stealth upper on it.

It takes away some of the visual impact when you can't see it.

Hi Mark,
My name is Bartholomew Bottlgie, and I just wanted to say thank you so much for your generosity. I was a winner in the MBT 2S Trigger Giveaway and I got her yesterday. I’m dropping her in today and going to get some range time with her tomorrow. It’s such a beautifully crafted trigger that I’m scared to even open the tin lol!. I have never won anything before and I’m still in shock that I am fortunate enough to have won this beautiful specimen. The engraving #xx/100 as well as the 2day shipping were both beyond amazing. It’s not common for people/companies to go out of their way like that-- and I just wanted to say I can’t thank you enough. This will never leave my possession and you guys are top of the line. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!! Mark you are the man! Happy New Year and may you have a great 2015. I will continue to wear my LaRue hat proudly. You are the best Mark and I’m still shaking I can’t believe I have this trigger!

Well I've finally had a chance to put her through the paces. I would first like to say thank you to Mark. You are so good to us here on the forum and don't think it isnt appreciated. Onto the review.

The trigger came with usual swag which is always appreciated, even though it was a gift. It was packaged perfectly and not just tossed into a ziplock bag like some others do. Initial impression is its too damn pretty to bury inside of my lower. Yes, it's just a trigger, but it is a work of art. No machine marks, no ugly black trigger here, it is truly a work of art.

The install was super easy. I dropped the safety selector out as others suggested and the trigger dropped in with no troubles at all. Function tested flawlessly and the trigger felt extremely smooth and broke like glass with no overtravel. The reset is very crisp and noticeable, not as audible as my RRA 2 stage match, but also much smoother. After reset you have to depress the trigger approx 2 mm to hit the second stage again. The second stage feels like it requires less pull than the first stage which I like but does not break quite as light as an SSA-E,  but a whole lot less than my RRA. The trigger itself is wide and flat which I love. It gives a nice positive pad for your finger and the sharper edges make it easier to keep finger placement the exact same shot after shot for precision work. My over all impression? it will be my go to trigger with all my non 3 gun builds, I will still stay with the SD3G for those unless Mark gets into the single stage game. I am thoroughly impressed and it ranks up there with the big trigger makers for sure. I'm giving it a big thumbs up and will be buying more for future builds. Onto the pics

So anyone who keeps up with the MOA all day challenge knows I shoot Larue rifles. And I like to think I do it pretty damn well. Mark went above and beyond to get a trigger to me before Christmas even though I was going out of town. I arrived home last Sunday and finally got to the range today.

Mike_P,

Thanks for the legwork ... going out to shoot 25-straight is ever so arduous.

All funnin' aside, the 1 MOA All Day Challenge dovetails nicely with our goals here.

But he still missed the bullseye! JK, nice shooting!!!!!

I am thinking I would like to replace the triggers in a couple of other AR's, but one of them is a Colt large pin... Has anybody modified an MBT for a large pin Colt receiver yet? I will probably be buying an MBT in a couple of weeks to go in a new lower I am building for the 6.8SPC. (Shhh, don't tell my wife!!!). The old Stag (Piece of Crapola) lower with the Wilson trigger will eventually be relegated for use in a future AR-5.7..... Or be sold......
