| Do the new Modular Float Rails heat up faster to the touch than your older quad rails? I looked at one in a gun store and they feel very comfortable to hold just worried about heat issue. Thank you. |

I don't see much difference between the MFR and the Troy TRX rails. I shoot them both and enjoy both. The DD installs better simply due to the lack of a gas tube notch for the barrel nut, IMO. I like the MFR's ability to hit the LB-FT torque spec without worrying about a gas tube lining up. I've got SBRs with both the MFR and the Troy TRX and when I'm running the gun hard they both need gloves
