The positives(great really!):
cleanly cut! Dark and consistent finish! Super light! note: mount needs slid on from rear, wont go over rail sections Finish has a sheen to it The Negatives (BAD seemed a pun here): *** SCREWS TO ATTACH MOUNT TO MRO ARE TOO LONG** my case gauge says MRO mount mounting holes are .159-1.65" deep, screws that came with the mount are .221-.223" (yes really its .223) long, Unknown if it is a miss on the counter sink depth in the mount or Trijicon manufacturers variance but at any rate I am contacting B.A.D. to get new screws Epic customer service in past dealings I am sure it will made right!(or its going back  lol)
AV edited 6/13/16 Did some additional measurements,screw protrusion past the mount is about .149 to .151" and that should fit according to depth but it looks like the depth of the MRO threads don't go the full depth of the hole .... so screws still too long but now have better idea what is going on, still need new screws since lock tight and 12in lbs. are not a good way to cut threads Peace AV |
| The mount can simply "rock-on" the Picatinny rail without you sliding it from the front or back. You need to get one edge on first and then rock it over to snap on the other edge. It should go on that way unless the Picatinny Rail is oversized or somehow our machining is off. We'll double check the screws, we included them for convenience. Have you installed the screws with the mount and optic? Shoot us an email and someone will take care of you tomorrow. |
