I have a BCM carbine I built for my wife who is a lefty. The carbine is a BCM lower with the trigger upgrade and the upper is a 14.5" pinned to 16" SOCOM upper, DD Omega rail, Aimpoint T2 and Inforce momentary only weapon light. I built the carbine as our HD, in the bedroom gun. My wife has taken more ownership and has begun to shoot more so I want to make it easier for her. She is talking about taking some carbine courses even.
What charging handle and ambi-safety would yall use to make this more southpaw friendly? I would like to stay BCM as much as possible, but I am open to other suggestions. Thanks |

I shoot rifle left handed and use:
Stag ambi safety $25 Standard CH (Stag) $17 Norgon ambi catch $80 (ar15.com store) The Norgon makes the biggest difference to me as you can release the mag with your trigger finger with shooting lefty I had a Magpul Battery Assist Device but it didn't work for me FWIW I have the smallest hands of any guy I know so that info may help
