Yes you should be able to swap your b as rrel with your wrench that came with your tobr. Mark had said they modified thisbone with the tobr barrel nut to make it modular. |

We started talking about FDE rifle numbers. He said, that due to so many duplicate numbers being requested, that they did not pull specific numbers. He said several folks ended up with the number they requested based on the luck of the draw. He specifically mentioned 007. By chance it went to someone who requested it. I think he said they owned the 007 Costa too, which is mind blowing. You should play the powerball my friend. |

I don't own any LaRue rifles, so I don't have a bone in this fight. BUT, I think Mark went above and beyond with this package. Great price to begin with, then threw in a badass mount and dropped the price on his suppressor. There was obviously a huge demand for this gun. To buy it and then sell it a few days later at an almost $2,000 mark up is BS in my book. If I was Mark I'd keep track of everyone that tried to make $2,000 on these guns, and bar them from every purchasing from me again.

Want one? Try to get one. Want on really bad, buy one for +$1000 a week later. This happens with tons of products EVERY year.
Yes, the rifle was an absurd deal beyond any of the previous special editions. Plenty of people will enjoy it for the $3200/3700 they paid. Someone paying $4300+ will certainly enjoy it all the same. Of course it's harder to be butthurt when I got one. I will say that all the $5,000 sales make it temping from a financial standpoint, but I'm going to hold strong for this particular rifle. Not going to guarantee anything for the next special edition, but I'm sure as hell trying to get one anyways, and possibly a friend may want it at cost.
I'm not big on UDE so I didn't go for one, and I missed out on trying to get the Costas -- but my 556 tOBR is just fine. I view all the gouging on resale a pretty clear valuation for my rifle and confirmation that it was money well spent. Originally Posted By MTAR15:

After that rifle sold, 2-3 a week started to pop up for sale averaging around $7500. I don't think other FDE's will sell for $5k? Most are selling for about a $1000 over retail and the $5k FDE that sold on GB was before Mark had mentioned contacting Costa owners for dibs on future batches. Given Larue's track record I'd estimate the second batch of UDE's to come out in about the next 6 months and followed by FDE's 6 months later. |

To buy it and then sell it a few days later at an almost $2,000 mark up is BS in my book. If I was Mark I'd keep track of everyone that tried to make $2,000 on these guns, and bar them from every purchasing from me again. I get that sometimes times get tough and people need to unload investments. This case does not sound like that situation. Rereading my comment, wasn't very clear -- I didn't mean to suggest that the LaRue AR15 version would fit on the LaRue AR10, but that other brand AR15's may work.
