Stu, USPS somehow managed to get it to me 3 days early. The plates fit nice and snug, only needed needlenose pliers to insert the retaining strip. Out of the box, the shoulder straps are perfect, so I didnt mess with any adjustments. My Shellback Patriot had to be modified to fit my 150# frame as the straps were way to long. Data points... I already have some 3810s purchased from Esstac but I figured that providing some data on what are probably the most popular bang-for-the-buck Level 3+ plates would be of some benefit. Tons of people have this plate in this size so I think it would be a popular option. Really really love the looks of this. Sounds like the focus is making it for hescos first, but if it comes out in other sizes I'd love to buy one or two. Just for your own data points - Highcom 4sas7 10x12 shooter's cut multicurve - 19 3/4" and 24 1/8" Highcom 4s17m 10x12 shooter's cut multicurve - 20 5/8" and 24 3/4" I can upload some pics if you're curious about the profiles for either. |

Shockingly, what everyone says about multicurve being significantly more comfortable is true . I am surprised just how much of a difference it made.

I still have a 10x12 square plate that I used to run rear cause ARF told me to back in the day, works for back packs now
