Just messing around with stuff out of my parts box. On my BCM SBR lower.  BCM complete upper with BCM BCG and charging handle BCM complete lower (Yes it is an SBR) CAR stock body on a milspec extension. BCM Keymod rail covers BCM forwar grip Midwest Industries front sight KAC 300 rear sight Sig Romeo 5 on a LaRue T1 mount IWC top rail mounted QD sling swivel IWC / Haley Throntail 6 light mount with a Surefire Scout Light IWC QD sling swivel end plate Lancer 300 Blackout 20 round magazine This thing is so short the forward grip is really needed. The thing is so short nothing can be on the sides of the handguard without interfering with your grip. So everything gets moved up. An inline light mount would do just as well. A shorter light would be okay, but the 600 fits without running off the front of the rail. I'm still messing about with parts. We'll see how it ends up. |
My first AR was this 2008 "build" using an assembled BCM M4 Carbine upper and BCG. It's been through numerous configurations as I learned what worked for me, and what didn't. It would be the first gun I'd grab in a SHTF situation...

After a long time, I finally have a complete BCM rifle in the collection again. Attached File Upper: 16 inch BFH ELW barrel with KMR (original) BCM mod 0 comp Troy/MI backup irons BCM bolt carrier group Aimpoint Pro in Larue LT150 mount BCM shorty foregrip Lower: BCM complete factory lower Magpul CTR stock Magpul BAD lever Larue MBT trigger Blue Force Gear sling Still haven’t decided what light I’m getting for it yet. Probably a Streamlight with an Arisaka mount. I may or may not swap the CTR for a gunfighter mod 0 stock, which is what I normally prefer. The guy I bought the rifle from had the CTR on there and it has been a while since I've used one, so I figure I'll give it a range trip or two to win me over. |

Went to Cabela’s to use a $100 gift card I was given. Found this in their used section for $600. It was missing a couple small things but round count seemed pretty low. No way I was passing on it. $530 out the door with a couple beat up PMAG’s after the gift card. Attached File Contacted BCM and it left as a complete pistol lower. Upper is a 14.5 Mk2 BFH ELW. Looked at the pricing and decided I got an even bigger steal than I realized so might as well throw a few hundred more at it. Had a flash hider pinned and welded, picked up a BCM grip, stock, buffer kit, and a Surefire G2XT. Not sure what optic I’m going to put on it yet so just a spare as a place holder to get some range time with it. Attached File |

Got a BCM 14.5” SOCOM upper during Thanksgiving for one of my SBR lowers. Added a MCMR 7” FDE rail and Smith Vortex flash hider. and it balances perfectly. Attached File |
