I was shooting my Colt 6450 today when something strange happened, I could feel the handguards twist!

I could rotate them clockwise. Nothing seems to be wrong with the front sight block, but the ring behind it will rotate clockwise.

Is this normal with the 9mm Colts? What`s causing this and how can I fix it?

Sounds more to me like the bbl nut may have worked loose.

I just re-assebled her after cleaning and looked over the forward ring, as well as the the delta ring, I could by hand unscrew the delta ring assembly and remove the barrel.

I think its time to send her back to Colt. I gotta know will Colt work on LEO stamped guns, in civilian hands?

Get a receiver block, and wrench and fix it yourself.

Nope.  Might as well sell it to me for a loss and I'll take care of it.

Where can I get them? And how much do they go for?
