I have a 20" Savage barreled action with an already approved form 1 just waiting to become an SBR. Can I send ADCO the barreled action, just barrel in stripped receiver, to cut down to 12 inches? Or do I need to cut the barrel myself to 15" and then send it in to ADCO to get the barrel re-cut/threaded to 12" barrel? I had read years ago, on the internet, that I had to complete the making of the SBR before having a gunsmith do the finishing work? Thanks |

I have two other barreled actions that have been done by another gunsmith and he never had me do this. I was literally just about to mail it today to you guys. It is not new, most people just dont know jack about NFA laws. |
