| Are the DSA buffer tubes made from 7075 aluminum or 6061? |
|
what really is the difference? if there is any?
is one less inferior? one will break sooner? one is thicker? more durable? on another note, i bought a couple of those "generic" SOPMOD buttstock that some arf members were selling here which was for "milspec" i tried it on three mil spec tubes including a "colt" milspec tube and they didnt even fit, on the colt one? it will go on but it was a two man evolution to take it off the tube. when my POF rifle arrived? "chaching!" fits like a glove and what a SOPMOD fit should be. i think its safe to say that "milspec" or "commercial" they are not all the same circumference. Im no gun guru or expert, just wanted to share my experience MM |

I have a DSA tube with one of the B5 SOPMODS and it works fine after modifying the stock to fit. |
