anyone tried a non-DD BCG in a DD5 v3?

Probably not a popular question in the DD industry area, but I can't buy a spare from them and no answers elsewhere :)

Last time I called you could not buy a BCG outright, rather you could buy this: https://danieldefense.com/dd5-critical-components-kit.html

I asked dd about trying a different bolt and they advised against it.

DD won’t sell complete bolt and bolt carriers yet for the DD5. They only sell that critical components spare parts kit for now. If your bolt and bolt carrier break for some reason, they will replace it if you mail it back to them.
