| Who does work on colt uppers???? Specifically, threading a barrel for a A-2 suppressor then re-installing/headspacing the barrel to the upper. |

| Headspace has nothing to do with the upper, headspace is determined from the barrel extension (the part that locks onto the bolt) and the chamber depth/size, and/or the bolt face. You do not need to do anything to thread the muzzle of the barrel for a f/s other than cut the threads into the end of the barrel. A Gunsmith may break down the upper to just the barrel, but that is not a big deal. |
