Colt: Layoffs and "Gutted" (Page 2 of 2)
|
Now that CZ owns Colt, get ready to see a move to breathe new life into the company and a turn back to commercial sales. CZ is no stranger to the market and knows Colts brand power. I expect good things to come as long as we still have a firearms industry. I am patiently waiting for CZG to wipe out management to install market savvy people as well as a top-notch R&D and engineering department. I’m looking forward to an all-new 9mm striker-fired pony pistol |

They just need some new direction from the top. |

I’m looking forward to an all-new 9mm striker-fired pony pistol I’m with you, but so far they’re selling 20” rifles marked CARBINE, so we may have to be extremely patient.

Genius. |

Genius. Genius might be a stretch, because it’s exactly what you or I would have done. |

I assume they have big plans… Yeah, that's a shitload more than the pennies on the dollar the hedge fund that bought Colt after the 2nd to last bankruptcy paid. You don't drop that kind of dough unless you've got a plan. |

They need to produce and market it though. |

I paid 1299 for my 716i. |

I’m just an observer. |
