Are these guns always in production? If not how does one know what colt is making at any given time?

Can anybody make a suggestion on where I could purchase a 6945? I have been checking Clyde Armory for the last few months but I haven't seen them come back in stock.

Which buffer is Colt shipping in the 6945 H2 or H3?

Thanks for the input, I've been wanting to send one of my 6940's to Adco or saw to have it cut down, open the gas port to .070 and form1 the lower. Hard choice between 10.3 or 11.5 or maybe one of each. |

Even though useless I prefer to see that bayonet lug on my three Colt SBR's. Just looks correct. Just me. |

Anybody have a source for Colt 6945's since the Colt financial mess? I haven't been able to find one except one place that has them for ass rape prices.

Thought I would say hi to all you guys since I keep looking through this topic again and again while waiting for my 6945. Some fine looking hardware on these pages, it pacifies me, I think I have another month wait on mine. To you guys running suppressors, do you have any cycling issues with the 10.3" barrel, did you have to change anything?

I just purchased a socom mini that I am probably going to start running instead of the sdn6 |

That's good to hear. Only a month in on waiting for a SpecWar 5.56 that I planned on using on wife's dissy. Thought I would try it on the 6945 and see how it would run. I saw it when it came in and I did the paperwork, did not have the Roger super stock. Probably would have changed though, still looking, maybe the MOE SL or UBR 2.0 for a little different look.

Has anyone seen a new 6945 for sale lately?

I know it's a bit late, but a couple of distributors have them currently. G&R being one.
I'm really considering pulling the trigger on one of these. Surprisingly, there's not much out there on them. |

Just picked one up today from Capitol. I've already got a 6933 but Torrey had them in stock so I said "what the heck". I'll get to take it home some time next year.......

I just purchased a 6945 upper; what buffer weight does Colt recommend for it? A H2 or H3?
