Clydes Armory has LE6945 uppers for $649. Got one, finish had typical cop duty wear on the finish but bore and bolt were fine and came with a PRI gas buster M48 https://clydearmory.com/agency-trade-in-colt-le6945-complete-upper-receiver/ Also Acme Sports has trade in LE6944s in stock for $1199 I have seen uppers go for close to it so getting a factory SBR Colt lower too, I am good with the price https://www.acmesportsinc.com/products/colt-00118628-118628-4711 I have one coming and update when I have it if they were decent or not |

Putting a Plan by type flash hider on it though as my YHM R2 will live on this a while |

A pair of police trade-in 6920s acquired in mid-2024 for $700/each OTD. Not sure which distributor they came from during that timeframe, so no idea what department service they had. One was pretty dirty and had evidence of being well cared for but shot quite a bit. The other looks like a safe queen from the back of the weapons locker. One is a 2013 and the other a 2014 based on the barrel dates. Both came config'd with the black MBUS rear sights and Carbine handguards. One has had the buffer tube changed to a 6-position and the other has the stock 4-position. I added the carry handle and the KAC RAS and grip to the top one to mimic the rifle I was USAF-issued in Afghanistan in 2011 (the KAC grip was smuggled home from that issued rifle). I gave the bottom one to my college-bound daughter as her first centerfire rifle, an upgrade from the 15-22 she has been shooting for almost 10 years. The optic is a Chinesium-level red dot that was on her 15-22 and is still chugging along fine on the Colt. Attached File |

Barely any wear on the bolt, CH or bore, I dont think this things has ever even seen an optic. Looks better than some of my rifles that only have like 1k through them. Almost thought it was unissued when I saw it from a couple feet away at first. FWiW they put the nicest of the bunch on GunBroker. So if looking grab what they have on GB. Or ask for pics of that they have left. All look pretty good |

Never Seen a round….This appears to be the same for these commandos. They aren’t selling the lowers well so slapping used uppers on them and calling them surplus |

I heard that they do this from time to time. It looks like they blew them all out. If they really want to move those commando lowers dropping them $50 might help. I have been on the fence for months just waiting to see if they will reduce the price a little bit. I was more interested when they offered the SBR option for the lower but they stopped doing this due to complications. |

I had a receiving FFL decline an SBR lower a few years ago. They said the Form 3/4 has a barrel length measurement on it, and since the lower didn’t have a barrel on it, the form was wrong. The seller just let me ship to another FFL, and everything went through just fine. Been using that FFL ever since. |

Got my LE6944 out of jail. Ordered from Acme Sports. LE Trade in. Honestly never seen trades in this good of shape. Haven't even cleaned it yet. Brass deflector is hardly beat. Pretty happy with my purchase. $1199 factory SBR. No regrets
