@AAC We’re going on a long long while of not Triad 3 lug TiRant mounts. Are you redesigning them or just not making any because you don’t feel like making any? Mine has enough wobble to cause a baffle strike with 9mm through a .45 TiRant... unacceptable. And thus far the RMA/Warranty replacement offered is worthless as I have a can I haven’t been able to use after several months with new replacement in sight. Can someone at least reply and give an update? I like AAC but this experience is souring me on the product. We know freedom group sucks but you guys don’t have to just because you’re affiliated. Y’all have gone from the industry giant with awesome marketing and CS to this? |

Another member here hooked me up with a triad adapter and it wobbled on my SP5, with the knurled thread protector installed. Switched to the GSL smooth thread protector and it has no wobble. I didn’t see it on their site, so I just called them. https://gsltechnology.com |

The knurled thread protector I have has an in spec outter diameter. That said...I’m willing to try anything. I looked for a smooth thread protector in 1/2x28 and couldn’t ever find one, so I appreciate the heads up. Do they have wrench flats to tighten them down? |

Mine was in spec too, as i read more on it, the knurled ones are fine for flash hiders and BFAs. There are no wrench flats, but you can just de-grease, rocksett, and hand tighten. Otherwise, if you want a less permanent solution, you can instead use plumbers tape on the threads. |

I think AAC was taken out to the back pasture and put down with one to the back of the head with a Rem 700 just like Bushmaster and DPMS were! Thanks Big Green and Cerberus Capital for destroying 3 formerly great American firearm/suppressor companies.

Long time ago I bought a JB tactical adapter to make it work. Not sure if the company still make it. It basically linked the tirant to a Octane trilug. Pretty rocksolid on my MP5. Silencertalk |

LOL I’ve got a old striker II that wobbles a bit much for my comfort. Reached out a while back to see if there was anything they could do and was just told “no”. I understand it’s a dated can, but some help or guidance would be nice. One day I’ll pull it apart and see about machine my own replacement mount for it. |
