I just noticed that the latest ballcap I received from LT is without a top "button". I must say this is a most excellent improvement when wearing electronic hearing protection or comms.

IT'S ABOUT TIME SOMEONE NOTICED.

We had that done for that exact reason...and the brass grommets were replaced with sewn-in reinforcements.

I did notice the brass grommets were changed but didn't even notice the top button.

not to complain, however the first think I noticed about the ball caps...other than that they are free with a purchase, is that they are made in Bangladesh. Any chance of getting your clothing line made in the U.S.A like the rest of your highest quality products?

True story...

Try as I might to keep them safe, my dog has gotten ahold of damn near all my hats and chewed the button off. Don't ask me why, but she'll get the button off and then leave the hat alone.

I got careless and left my LaRue hat where she could get it...and she didn't touch it! I guess she saw that there was no button!

Way to go, guys!

AND they cure baldness and liberalism, have an SPF of about 500 (depending on color),
they are highly absorbent, awesome conversation starters, the chicks dig 'em,
and they make a swell gift too!

Good news! FYI, for the old style use your side cutters and pop the button off the aluminum rivet and it will be buttonless as well ;)

If you look at class AARs you will notice often half the class wears a LaRue hat.

Except the one dude in a tactical yellow visor.

I went and looked on the website on the 14th when I saw this thread. This may be a stupid question, but are they under the hats section? All I saw were hats with the buttons.

IOW, how about some pics ya bums!

I have an enormous jug head, the old hats just didnt look right on my enormous jug head, so I just gave them all away.

The new buttonless cap looks just dandy on my enormous jug head!!! YEAY!!!
