What are the differences in small frame and large frame APEG grips? Will a small frame fit on a large frame lower with modification?

In a pinch and not really noticing I used a small frame a year or two ago. By the time I realized it was pretty tight and I already had the mallet out so…

If you need a large frame order one or ask in the trading thread. Someone probably has one laying around.
