Has Magpul considered making a simple rifle stock that’s very A1 or CS inspired externally? It doesn’t have to be clone correct. But I don’t find your rifle stock visually appealing currently, and the two PRS have their place but not for everything. Most A1 stocks are hot trash build wise. Vintage are drying up and issue prone. Just a rock solid profile of an A1 or CS stock with your indestructible polymer. Building a Varmint rifle? Perfect. Putting together an SPR? Perfect. Light weight hunting rifle? Perfect. I’m tired of collapsing stocks on everything. They were neat for a while cause they were evil and dangerous, but the rifle tube is and always were the cats meow. But it's going to be on the manufacturers and distributers to cut off sales directly to WA for fear of getting sued. Same as with Mags. It will be interesting to see what parts places like Brownells won't ship to WA and just how far the self imposed parts ban will actually go. I seriously wonder a Washington resident will be able to buy a simple set of iron sights or is that's off limits? Are optics out? I have no idea and only time will tell. |

While Magpul does carer to the tacticool crowd, nothing wrong w that, an A1 length stock with a QD sling cup near reciever and m-lok slot near the back would be neat. Have the buttplate storage and such, just the classic lines of the A1 with like, 3-4 pieces of flair. No need for 37 pieces of flair. Express yourself, that's all we ask. You do want to express yourself, don't you? |
