Is your 45 deg selectors compatible?

The Ruger Precision Rifle (RPR) is not an AR, but it uses a AR safety leaver. Ruger has designed the safety throw is to be 45 deg. So would the 45 deg. BAD would be appropriate since the RPR is set up for a 45 deg. movement vs. a standard AR throw and BAD?
