Received mine on Monday. Thank you Mark and the LaRue team! Nice touch on the double dillo for achieving it twice (5.56 and .260 tOBRs).
The .260 got a lot of attention at a long range training on did on Monday . . . Hopefully it generates a couple new customers for you. |

I was able to get a quick trip to the range in after work. Shooting into the setting sun in the rain and was able to squeeze out these two groups. Not bad for a Burris 1.5x6. Ammo was 123 gr Hornady ELD Match. This is going to be one of my favorite rifles. Thanks Mark for another great rifle. Fr8dawg |

I went out and sighted it in today and put myself up against the Shootist, I think I did ok, even though my printer sucked and was almost out of ink I had to color in a spot to aim at 168gr FGMM optic is a Nikon BLACK X1000 6-24x50SF in an LT745

Not correct format/grid. Just found this pic clearing out some junk, pic from a couple years ago. This is a16in tOBR 7.62 at 600 yards with a Vortex Viper PST 5-15. Light drizzle, minimal wind, probably upper 40s temp, handloads with 175 SMK, Varget, mil once fired brass. I likely couldn't do that again but I certainly could shoot a watermelon (assuming no hurricaine winds) 100% of the time at that distance. The dude builds some nice gas guns.

Decided I would try and outshoot the shootist. Previously posted a .716 and .256 in the Grendel Thread.

Here she is. This is my second attempt, but the first "official" attempt as I did not have a copy of my factory target that day, and it was actually similar to this one.
The smallest group I have shot thus far was around .5 or .6 MOA, but being the dope I am, I looked at the tyarget and then simply stapled another one on top of it thinking, I'll grab it later. Apparently my brain didn't understand that the target would be useless once I put more rounds downrange. Anyways, this rifle is capable of quite a bit better, I'm sure of that. Wish I had gone with a slightly more magnified optic then what I am currently using, which is a Vortex PST Gen II 1-6. Shot this group with 77gr FGGM.
