Valley Forge, PA is a decent sized show.  Also, since you are farther north, you can come across 80 and hit some of the shows up in NE PA.

NJ residents can purchase long guns from PA FFLs, like at the Valley Forge show.

I go to the Valley Forge show whenever it comes around.  Its a mix of good and bad deals but you can always find something worth buying, be it mags, ammo, guns or whatever.

The Allentown Convention Center is also not a bad show. Check on shotgunnews.com for the gun show links.

Phila. Armory show and Valley Forge. Both are worth going to. None in NJ. The only NJ "show", if you really want to call it a show is in Toms River. It's the last Sunday of the month at the Toms River Elks Club. Completly worthless IMHO!!

It is my understanding that you can buy long arms and handguns in PA.
The law does not require a permit to own a handgun in NJ  only to buy one.

The show at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Middletown, NY is pretty good. It's about an hour and a quarter from Paramus, NJ. You can see the schedule here.....

Sorry, long guns only.  You cannot buy a handgun other than the state you live in.  If you live in PA and own guns, you can move to NJ with them.  Most of mine, I brought in from NY.
