Yes it seems like there is some sort of central command and control structure behind this. I kind of wonder if people are taking advantage of immigrants and at risk youths to kind of go out and panhandle to collect money then they give them back a portion of it? I’ve seen really aggressive cases of it here with people literally setting up tents at busy gas stations and they are very territorial. I’ve seen this one lady in a wheelchair being pushed about a quarter mile away. I don’t see them there anymore but who knows what happened. Really I’d be more interested in getting to the bottom of it. It could be a modern day undercover story about infiltrating these bum networks. My guess is that it’s probably not going to happen because these people are hooked on drugs and probably forced to work by some group. |

I was in Prague in the late 90's and saw this guy in a black leather coat (Russian organized crime uniform) talking excitedly and pointing his finger at this panhandling bum. My GF at the time spoke the language and said he was yelling at the guy because he was too close to another panhandling bum and to move to another block. My first thought was that has to be the lowest wrung of the mafia ladder. |

I work in Warrenton. In the past 2 years there are organized crews working together. Either middle aged white homeless men/women claiming to be vets or cute gypsy gals. Sometimes we get the black dudes in church clothes w/ buckets. They leave their signs and trash behind, and dipshit drivers leave them bags of water bottles and junk food even when they aren't out there begging. It really is dangerous because drivers will stop suddenly in the turn lanes w/ traffic behind just to hand them cash. From what long-term locals tell me the town has recently become under control of wealthy nimby libtards so I'm curious if they would put up a fight if Spamburger tells them to reverse this ban. |
