A fine range and a fine course of fire! (and pretty good bacon sandwiches too!)
Was a great mornings shooting at WNSC. Many thanks must as always go to Pat, Chris and Gareth for setting up and RO'ing and for making the shoot exactly the way it should be. Safe, interesting and friendly. Today saw three courses of fire. One PSG, one mini rifle and one combined. The latter having an usual start position! Steve even shot the PSG today - and although he only used a section 2 gun - he still did pretty well. Looking forward to Shield now! |

Yep, good club, and the Mini-rifle / PSG chaps are a really good bunch. Only three of the planned four stages went ahead as a couple of usual helpers had to cry off at short notice, but it was still great fun.
Particularly useful for me and Matt as we will being doing the Shield Charity shoot on 16th April in the same format. I shot it with a borrowed S.2, 3-shot semi-auto Berretta, which was a very pleasant change from the usual shotguns I tend to wrestle with and actually nice to shoot. Gave us a chance to sort out some kit, drills, etc. It's all good...
