I use the one from ACE, doesn't smell like a chemical factory lab like the one the door company uses. Get a pair of rubber gloves, some rags and park the cars outside-use safety glasses also. Wipe the tracks, rollers, etc after spraying to remove gunk and excess, maybe repeat if it hasn't been done in some time. Take a scrap piece of carboard and place under the vertical track to catch any excess that may run onto the floor. |

WD40 does make a White Lithium grease spray that gets good reviews for garage door parts but I never tried it. Seems like it would attract too much dirt and dust. |

| I’m a garage door technician. Wd-40 attracts dust. That’s something you wanna stay away from on garage door parts. It will work if you can’t get anything else but it’s not ideal. You want a white lithium based spray. Home Depot and Lowe’s sell several different brands of garage door lube. They all work just fine. |
