Took my wife, daughter, and her boyfriend on a nice 6.5 mile hike on the Wilson River Trail yesterday.

I thought I would share a few pictures that I happened to snap.

Nice pics.  I think with in 2 years the WR trail is going to go all the way to the gales creek camp ground.  Should be a good trail once it is all done.

You guys could purchase one of these for the youngsters.  Just think of the great work out you would get after hauling your little ones around all day.

M-60,  I am certain that I saw bigfoot.

Yes dogs are welcome on this trail.  I forgot to mention that my dog Kacey made the hike as well.  I even took her off the leash which I usually don't, but we only ran into one couple during the hike.

We started our hike at the Tillamook Forestry Center, and hiked west to the footbridge trailhead.  I used to jump off that foot bridge when I was in my teens, and this was the first time I have been there since.

From the Tillamook forestry center to Wilson Falls is 1.7 miles, and 3.2 miles to the foot bridge.  The elevation gain is only a couple hundred feet, so it is pretty easy.

The Tillamook Forestry Center is about a 12 minute drive past Browns Camp, and about a half mile past Jones Camp.

I have to admit that I was pretty excited to actually give the GPS coordinates since this is the first time I have posted them!!  BTW the Garmin 60CXS freaken rocks!!  M-60 can verify this!

I can give you the coordinates to my shitter if you would like!  I have been making way too many waypoint lately.

Tracker: Nice Pictures!  I used to spend a fair amount of time on the Wilson River
fishing for steelhead and salmon.  Jeez, I remeber the first time fishing down there,
I caught a 10lb Chinook and a Coho.   After several years, the rain, and crowds discouraged me.   Now I spend my weekends at TCGC, under shelter, pulling the trigger.
