Yes dogs are welcome on this trail. I forgot to mention that my dog Kacey made the hike as well. I even took her off the leash which I usually don't, but we only ran into one couple during the hike. We started our hike at the Tillamook Forestry Center, and hiked west to the footbridge trailhead. I used to jump off that foot bridge when I was in my teens, and this was the first time I have been there since. From the Tillamook forestry center to Wilson Falls is 1.7 miles, and 3.2 miles to the foot bridge. The elevation gain is only a couple hundred feet, so it is pretty easy. The Tillamook Forestry Center is about a 12 minute drive past Browns Camp, and about a half mile past Jones Camp. GPS coordinates to the Tillamook Forestry Center N45 35.053 W123 33.644 |

Tracker: Nice Pictures! I used to spend a fair amount of time on the Wilson River fishing for steelhead and salmon. Jeez, I remeber the first time fishing down there, I caught a 10lb Chinook and a Coho. After several years, the rain, and crowds discouraged me. Now I spend my weekends at TCGC, under shelter, pulling the trigger. Spambo |
