Here's the S1050s set up to process some .223 brass.  Note  one of the trimmer motors is off the one press for this pic. I had some work to do on it.

I'm set up to run .45 and .223  which is what I shoot the most of.  The bullet feeder  that is covered in this pic is for the .45
This is a trial set up on this bench but is working out good for now. It will get some refinements as time passes. One of which is to run the vac and wiring though  holes it the bench top.  The other is to have a 2' wide by 8' wood bench to the left of this one.  It will form a T and add working space when cleaning the machines.

Very nice set-up.  Planning to upgrade later.  Sticking with the Ol'Cock Rhucker for the time being... slow and steady, steady and slow...

I bit the bullet hard on these two.  But at the end of the day they will still bring a good $$$$.$$  if and when  I end up selling one or both.

do you do a test run on powder charge and primer make/type  before loading 1,000 rounds.
I do a run of 10 or 15 test, shoot them and do corrections accordingly or just go with the configuration.
I look up the data for the powder mfg. on  the net and go from their loading chart but I also have two new books
I do like to test a few before loading a bunch. the only drawback is time and a close place to shoot the test run.

I know what all the loads are that I shoot. So for the most part no I make runs of atleast 5K.  I might  make a run of 5K in  .223 say 55 grn FMJBT Hornady bullets then change over to .45 and run about 4 to 5 K of say 200 grn Plated round nose bullets.  That's what I did with only one S1050.  It worked out good as the machine must be taken down and cleaned at 10K anyway. Now I have the option to keep processing .223 brass while I load .223 or .45.  Also I now can have the machine with the feeder running .45  and be loading .223 on the other.  With the bullet feeder on the .45 machine it will run all by it self. All I have to do is stop it about every 90 rnds and add primers , bullets and brass. Every 700 rnds or so it will need powder too.  Loading the .223 I have to add powder every time I refill the primer magazine .  Because I'm stopped anyway I throw in a hand full of brass too.  I don't use the bullet feeder for the .223. To do so I would have to remove the powder CK die and I don't want to do that.  Besides I use a Cal Die to seat my .223 bullets and its just as fast as the Mr Bullet feeder, the press never stops for that.  The 1st thing that will stop me is the primers  and for that I use a RF100 set up for small and large primers. OH yes I do drink the blue koolaid.

If for some reason I do need to work up a new load then YES I run about 20 or so and test them for the desired results
