How long can i keep a magazine loaded, Is it advisable to empty any mags after shooting or is it ok to keep them for next time, Does it damage the spring in any way?

Empty them everytime, yes it does damage the spring. Why would you want to keep them loaded?

Don't leave the range with loaded mags, or you could end up deep in the do-do

However, you can sit in someones car and load them as they drive up the M6, eh SF

Not sure if that makes a difference, though.

Matty

I think the best way to handle this is..as mentioned above

Only ever have a mag loaded if you are at a shooting position ready to shoot. Empty all rounds before heading home...I have no need to keep mags loaded if I'm not at the range.

That said I do have a mag in front of me with 10 rounds in it...

BUT... I have just reloaded some 68gr heads (fukin hell they are long)  and I'm just making sure they will fit into the mag...then I'll empty it again

Cheers
