I just ordered my first suppressor. According to Silencer Shop the NFA wait period has been a lot faster if your FFL submits the paper-work using the E-File system. Does anybody know any Oregon dealers (preferably close to Albany) who E-file?

Give Welburns Weapons in Medford a call. They may be able to help you.

Thanks, I just saw your reply. Blackwater Tactical in Salem also can do it. Plus I did a search for them and it seems they are ARFCOM approved!

Not speaking from experience, but speaking by what the guy at Silencer Shop said...It is about 3 months for E-file compared to 10 months for doing it the normal route:

Sounds too good to be true, but I'm going to give it a shot:)

I had a can submitted via eForm through Tornado Tech. Wait was 96 days.

The out of state dealer that send it to them kept dropping the ball, and did paper transfers. That part took almost 8 months.

Did I miss something?  I thought that efile was only for From 3's & Trusts.  Did they finally get with the modern age and accept scanned documents?

If you are doing a Trust good for you, but as I understand it they have changed the rules on them, and are looking to change them again.  I have to admit I am ignorant of the whole Trust thing.  All my forms are personal.

dealer can submit f4 via eforms to transfer to a trust or corp.  in the armory section of arfcom they are reporting f4/f1 completions in 90-110 days.

I am going the Trust route. Silencer Shop talked me into their $130 trust when they told me the wait would be so much shorter. I was going to do the individual route before that.

NFA Tracker shows they are running about 90 days, same as the reports from those in the SBR forum.

I'm getting my notorized Saturday. I highly recommend the SS trust. I can't speak to how well it works after you die for passing on items, but getting NFA items in 90days is reason enough for me.

I've been looking at purchasing one of those. The title of it all is just "xxx Trust" yeah?

I don't want to have "revocable" or "living" in the title for engraving purposes.
