The News 2A team recently began a column where you can name and shame a local PD for abusing your 2A rights or commend a local PD for doing the right thing. Here's their latest article of shame. Wayne New Jersey Sitting on Their Hands? Nine-Plus Months for Permits! Some news tips came in about Wayne, New Jersey. A couple of applicants were willing to go on the record. One stated she applied for pistol purchase permits and they were not fulfilled for over nine months. Another has been waiting since October 2024. As has been covered before, applicants especially ones that already have firearm identification cards for any firearm related paperwork should not be caused to wait after the N.J. NICS/background check. Yet, there are jurisdictions taking forever. The law in New Jersey is that permitting officials have 30 days to act on a so-called "completed" application for permits to purchase pistols or firearm identification cards. fuck wayne nj, and fuck all the assholes working for the township. those fuckwads made me wait almost a year for a goddamn address change on my FID card when i temporarily moved back there. when i came to sussex county, it took less than 2 weeks. again, fuck wayne township with a rusty piece of rebar. |

NJ gun rights people need to encourage people getting fucked over by local police department to file an IA complaint. The police department has to take the complaint. Gun rights people have to use the system to destroy the system. The attorney general made the IA complaint system a real problem for cops. Three complaints and an officer goes on the early warning system. Three complaints regardless if they are founded or unfounded. I guarantee people if you start filing id complaints for failing to approve the permit in 30 days which is in chapter 58. Shit will change. |
