I'll be getting a complete upper in about a week and I need help to tighten the barrel nut onto my upper.  Can someone give me a hand?  This was a deal I couldn't pass up and I've got the itch to go shooting but don't have any AR tools

If you are getting a "complete upper", it sure doesn't sound complete

I have a hammer and some chisels. Maybe a few screwdrivers too. Not exactly precision tools, but we could get' er done.

I'll have to talk to him about that.  I'm waiting for the barrel to ship out and get here though.  It's so close to being done I can almost see how it will look.

ETA: Last I heard Mark had to move his gunsmith off site since he was so busy and didn't have all the room.

Ok thanks.  I only need the barrel nut tightened to the upper.  I'm having the upper mailed from Colorado in a couple of days.  Have to send payment Monday. I'll let you know when I'm ready and try to setup a time.  Shouldn't take much time to tighten the barrel nut.
