Credit to the original author. By voting, we all did our job for this election. No matter the results, we have to remember that Freedom is not one time, one election, one lawsuit, one donation, one act thing. It takes ongoing effort, action, vote, donations, lawsuits etc, or else we will not be here. It will always be like that. Tyranny is default nature of human society. If you do NOTHING, that is what happens to society. Its like the darkness, absence of light. Do NOT listen to fluffy, princess stories of how everything just stays happy if we are just be nice to each other and thats it. Just like darkness requires constant light to keep it away, Freedoms require constant effort and fight. Expression, 2A, Due Process (courts), Voting etc are tools available to us to put that good fight every minute of every day. |
