Danny took us to his range to shoot this a.m. Much warmer than last Saturday.
Cavgunner was going to go, but he forgot to take his geritol and came down with a case of the shakes and had to stay home. Nutter was sick with some undisclosed simian virus too. Pedorerror79 was to busy reacting violently to last night's Vietnamese feast in East Hartford. We took M1 Garand virgin, two SBR's and two suppressed Ruger pistols. BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG, PING. Danny figured out how to bump fire the Garand. We also fell violently on the ice numerous times. Melting water running over sheet of previous night's freeze with no snow. Pretty comical. Lots of fun. The least we could do to repay Got_Guns back for organizing all the shoots in the past. Hope we can do it again with the invalids participating. |

I have to hand it to DanTSX....I have never seen anyone bump fire a Garand before.
I also enjoyed the special full auto twig that he found on the ground. And lastly I learned that when walking on a icy road do not say that you can't believe you made it to the car without falling until you are actually in said car. Thanks Dan if your reading this for your hospitality. Too bad nutters and cav were under the weather. Need to organize another shoot for the spring. Probably after the arfcom holiday get together. |
