My neighbor went, she said someone should have checked the flight paths in Birmingham before they chose that spot. She also didn't care for the seating, She is petite and couldn't see over the person seated in front of her. Having said that, I'm not a fan of open venues in general. The last one I went to was the foo fighters at Oak Mountain a couple years ago and we got soaked before the show started. Now in Birmingham you get the added excitement of possibly winning the UBEV lottery. |

Someone posted in another thread it was a sauna. Acres of concrete, metal, and asphalt, sitting shoulder to shoulder with several thousand other people…. Ehhhhhh, maybe in the fall. I’m interested to hear about parking and access though, sounded like they had some bugs to work out. |

She never went back. |

Wife and i went and saw Dave Matthews there tuesday. came in on caraway from the north. parked in the N3 deck. short walk. venue was nice but it was hot as hell in the pit. lots of police around and lots of blocked roads getting cars in and out. $9 bottles of water sucked overall not bad but i prefer the orion in HSV |
