Hi everyone, I have a couple of questions. I'm looking at maybe taking some classes to become a locksmith. I'm looking online for things in Virginia and I'm not sure on where to really go for this. I'm not sure if everything now a days is more geared towards electric panels. I keep seeing that in my search.
Does anyone know of a school to take classes to become a locksmith? I have seen a couple listed online through the Virginia government website but it is for electronic panels and security alarms. Do you know if most of it is going to be on electronic panels? I remember the locksmiths from years ago that carried keys and tools. I'm just wondering if I find a class or two if I would learn the actual keyhole type of locks along with electronic panels. I will take any and all information that you guys can give me. I have seen a few jobs in my area pop up and I was just wondering where to get the training. Thanks everyone for the help and info. |
